FLINT — A Flint man has won $2,500 a week for life playing the Michigan Lottery's Cash For Life instant game.
Kenneth Martines, 63, bought his winning ticket at the Khouris Market in Flint.
“I’ve been an avid lottery player and have always enjoyed the Cash For Life games,” Martines said. “Winning is pretty incredible and so life changing! I’ll be able to get some fun toys that I have always wanted!”
He chose to accept his prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.8 million rather than annual payments of $130,000 for 20 years or life.
