This comes shortly after Giannis Antetokounmpo said he would pledge $100,000 to arena employees.
Earlier in the week, the NBA put a temporary hiatus on the season to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. This left many part-time workers, who rely on arena employment to supplement their income, worried.
Now, players around the league, including Kevin Love and Blake Griffin, have said they will donate money to their respective arena staff. Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, also said he is working on a way to help workers who are temporarily out of a job.
