Cleveland, OHO (WEWS) -- Cleveland residents across the city woke up to find their cars vandalized on New Year's Eve.
The reports started rolling in around 9 a.m.
At least six reports were made in one West Side neighborhood and two were made along Dove Avenue.
Residents are furious after finding racist and profane messages spray painted on their cars.
Police don't know who could be responsible for the distasteful artwork.
For some residents it was a quick fix, but for others, the frustration won't buff out any time soon.
"I was kind of pissed. I mean my son works hard for his car. He’s a college student. Works part time and goes to college full time. So yeah I was pissed," said Tim Lantz, whose son's car was spray painted.
If you have any information about these vandals, call police.
