Teen killed in Milwaukee shooting near 21st & Lloyd

MILWAUKEE — A 16-year-old was killed in a deadly shooting on Monday near 21st & W. Lloyd St.

The shooting happened at around 5:30 p.m.

The 16-year-old was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment and life-saving measures but was later pronounced dead.

On Tuesday, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Travontae T. Greene.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
