Let’s talk, Milwaukee!
What matters to you is important to us. That’s why TMJ4 is embarking on a series of listening sessions throughout the area. We've held sessions in Kenosha, Waukesha, Racine, South Milwaukee, and now we're coming to Milwaukee.
“Well I like and appreciate that a lot because some people aren’t able to get out much so the only thing they have to learn about the state is through the news," said Kevin Patterson of Milwaukee. "So when you venture out to Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth County, or Dogde County, it gives us better insight to what’s going on out there."
We'd love to hear what’s going well, what’s not, and anything else we should know about living in Milwaukee at the Northcott Neighborhood House on Wednesday, August 14, from 4-6 p.m. They really can make a difference.
Watch: What to expect at Let's Talk Milwaukee:
“The stories might just be mundane," said Nath Roth of Milwaukee. "But that stuff’s important to a lot of the viewing audience and sometimes you have to just peal back the layer to reveal it to whoever’s watching and that’s why I’ve stayed here all my life."
Come and share your stories with TMJ4 anchor Susan Kim, sports reporter Rod Burks, Milwaukee County reporters Gideon Verdin and Brendyn Jones, and reporters Mariam Mackar and Michael Beiermeister.
Don’t have a “story idea?” No problem! Come and mingle with our reporters and tell them what makes Milwaukee special, or what could use some improvement in a relaxed setting.
The Northcott Neighborhood House is located at 2460 N. 6th St. in Milwaukee. See you there!
