57-year-old dies in shooting Saturday evening

MILWAUKEE — A 57-year-old victim died in a shooting at about 5 p.m. Saturday on the 4700 block of N. 29th St. and a suspect was taken into custody.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A 25-year-old was arrested by police for the shooting.

Charges were referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Troy Humes.

The shooting is under investigation by MPD.
