MILWAUKEE — You may have seen Dr. David Margolis sporting green hair in honor of the Milwaukee Bucks, and he'll admit, he's a child at heart. Perhaps that's why he is so passionate about working with children who are battling cancer and related blood disorders.

Dr. Margolis is the program director of bone marrow transplant at Children's. He came on TMJ4 News at Noon to talk about how MACC Fund contributions are used to research cures for cancer.

He said children are resilient and we need to be too so that one day all childhood cancers are cured.

The TMJ4 Sports Auction 4 MACC is one way to contribute to the fight against cancer. There are more than 50 items to bid on. Click here to view the auction.

TMJ4 has also partnered with the MACC Fund for the 33rd annual MACC Star. This year's ornament was designed by Juan Pablo Franco of Mukwonago. Stars are available at maccfund.org, any Balistreri-owned Sendik's, and at Spargo Salon & Spa. They cost $10 each.
