A simple gardening project turned into a treasure hunt in Sara Jaszewski's Bay View front yard. Digging up her bushes she found a Bay View High School class ring from 1964.

"I only saw the "B" when it first came out because it was all dirty, and then later on I cleaned it up and realized, you know, it might belong to somebody especially being a class ring," said Jaszewski.

The family has lived in the house since 1975.  The initials engraved on the ring, SJT, but don't mean anything to them. Given the graduation year, this ring could have been buried for more than 50 years.

"A ring usually means something to someone and I would want my ring back if someone found it," said Jaszewski.

Wanting to reunite owner and ring she went to Facebook. Jaszewski says it took only a few days for her ring post to be shared over 100 times.

There are more than 60 comments giving her clues or advice on how to find the owner.

She says once the owner is found, she'll simply mail the ring to them.
