GREEN LAKE COUNTY — A Wisconsin teen has escaped from a home where she was allegedly being sex trafficked, according to police.
The Green Lake County Sheriff's Office has six suspects in custody following a call from a Wisconsin teen who stated she was being sex trafficked. A deputy picked up the young girl on the side of the road. She said she was being sex trafficked out of a home in Randolph, Wis which is north of Beaver Dam.
An investigation was opened. The Green Lake County Sheriff's Office searched the home and found several items believed to be connected to the sexual assault of the victim. The search also led to the arrest of six men, who are believed to be undocumented immigrants from Guatemala.
Police believe one of the suspects has been trafficking the victim within the residence. All the suspects are currently being held at the Green Lake County Correctional Facility but have not yet been formally charged.
This incident remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Division of Criminal Investigations of the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
