Barron Wisconsin singer Chris Kroeze’s success continues as he advances to the top 10 on NBC’s The Voice.
On Monday, Kroeze played the Doobie Brothers’ "Long Train Runnin’” to continue to the next round on the music game show.
His coach Blake Shelton told Kroeze, “You just keep getting better every single performance.”
His hometown held a watch party attended by his friends and family, along with the family of Jayme Closs, who went missing after her parents were murdered in their home last month.
Kroeze was visible in the area despite appearing on The Voice to help in thesearch for Jayme last month. His spotlight on the show helped bring national attention to the search for the missing teen.
“I continue to be overwhelmed with the support from Wisconsin and the entire Midwest,” said Kroeze following the results show. “It’s such a cool feeling to know that so many people like my music, and me.”
Kroeze will compete again on Dec. 3.
