WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Wednesday night could be the coldest air to hit Wisconsin so far this season.

A frost advisory is likely tonight in parts of southeastern Wisconsin. Some areas in the state may see the first snow of the season.

It's not uncommon to see a dusting of snow in October in Wisconsin, but some people in Watertown are not ready for the winter weather.

"I like the warm weather. The older you get, the tougher it gets every year. When you're younger, you don't care. When you get older,  you say here we go again," said Rick Simon of Watertown.

Simon and his neighbor are preparing for the chilly weather by cleaning up their yards and protecting their plants with old sheets.

Window washers on Main Street were bundled up, but said they are prepared for the chilly air.

"Bring it on," said Steve Heiser with S & S Window Cleaning. "This is Wisconsin. We deal with what we deal with,"

A frost advisory means that widespread frost is expected.   Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
