DELAVAN -- A 7-year-old girl with congenital anomalies, along with her family and friends, had her wish come true on Saturday.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted Shelby Woods a chance to see a unicorn at The Dancing Horse Theatre in Delavan, Wisconsin.
Shelby always wanted to see one in person and had very specific ideas of what they would look like, including the presence of the "Queen of Scotland." The queen was played by a volunteer from Storybook Enhancements.
Shelby arrived at the theater Saturday morning with her family and friends for a tea party with the "Queen of Scotland." Shelby was invited to be a part of the royal court for the day too. The 7-year-old then was able to ride the unicorn around the stage, making her wish come true.
Judging by the photos, there was no one happier than her at that moment.
