Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice-Elect Jill Karofsky will be sworn into office on Saturday...while she runs a 100-mile ultra-marathon.

Karofsky, who is an avid runner, won the Wisconsin Supreme Court seat against Justice Daniel Kelly during the April election.

Karofsky was a judge for Branch 12 of the Dane County Circuit Court.

The stop on the 100-mile ultra-marathon will be Saturday afternoon and will be streamed online.

Karofsky will be running for approximately 30 hours during the ultra-marathon, beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday. The swearing-in will take place at the 35-mile marker.
