Winter Whales 'rare' beer festival coming to Milwaukee

We know what you might be thinking, beer in Wisconsin, rare? The grain-derived drink is pretty familiar around these parts, but this upcoming festival hopes to introduce the '"unattainable" rare craft beer.

Winter Whales: A Brewfest Presented by Drink Brew City is coming to Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery Saturday.

The 'whale' in the craft beer world is an unattainable rare beer, but the 19 craft beer specialists attending the festival are hoping to make the unattainable, attainable.

  • Milwaukee Brewing Company

  • New Barons Brewing Cooperative
  • Raised Grain Brewing Company

  • Sprecher Brewery

The VIP session begins at 11 a.m., followed by two general admission sessions from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
