KENOSHA COUNTY — Grab your skis and snowboards! Wilmot Mountain opens up its slopes for riders Friday.
For the dedicated, you can get first runs of the season starting at 4 p.m.
The resort has many opening day activities lined up for their visitors including a banner break at 4 p.m. on chair three, music on the patio, a photo booth in the lodge, and a commemorative free pin giveaway.
Wilmot Mountain will be opening a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain as well as a pop-up terrain park so visitors of all skill levels are welcome. There are lessons available on Nov. 29, Saturdays, and Sundays until Dec. 6.
Early season hours change from day to day so find the schedule below:
Nov. 23 - Nov. 24: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Nov. 25 - Nov. 27: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Thanksgiving (Nov. 28): 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Black Friday (Nov. 29): 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Nov. 30 - Dec. 1: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
