GLENDALE — The windy weather conditions caused power outages across southeast Wisconsin.

Ken Craig works on Port Washington Road; he said he heard a transformer blow around 12:30 p.m. The dealership went dark as they were preparing for Black Friday.

"Some people were scared." "Were you scared? No, it takes a lot to scare me," said Craig.

The high winds caused employees at Ideal Christmas Tree to bring down a light tower and slowed down sales.

"We took down our light tower so that didn’t blow over and then we have custom made frames that we lean our taller trees against, said Ty Depies.

Over on Candy Cane Lane, Jerome Thomas-Moore spent his morning, making sure his Christmas decorations didn't fly away.
