WHITEFISH BAY — With a median household income of $111,069 and a five-year unemployment rate of 1.5%, Whitefish Bay residents know their city is a desirable place to live.

The city, with a population of 14,099, was selected as one of the top 10 best cities to live in America by 247wallst.com.

Whitefish Bay is also one of the safest communities in the country, with a violent crime rate of 36 incidents per 100,000 people. For reference, there were 383 violent crimes per 100,000 people nationwide in 2017.
