The Westboro Baptist Church plans to protest across the country and on Thursday, they plan to protest at UW-Milwaukee.
The organization announced the protest on their website and said:
"The University of Wisconsin is in such dire need of these words of life and health that WBC will preach at another of their campus locations today. It is a great blessing to have a buffet of God's words brought right to your corner. Any who see the words would do well to take heed."
Students heard about the Westboro Baptist Church's protest and planned a counter-protest with approximately 100 students expected to attend.
The counter protest will start at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
