WEST BEND -- A West Bend doctor let us step into his world. It has nothing to do with medicine, but what he does on his off-time.

He showed us his ultimate Lego collection.

It is over-the-top before you even get a peek inside. That's because you need Chad Tamez's fingerprint to even open the door.

"I love it because its a chance for me to sit down relax and kind of de-stress from the day," said Tamez.

At first glance, you may not even notice the painstaking detail.

"All the colors you see on the wall are Lego color-matched. There's purposefully no windows down here because the sunlight can fade the Lego color and for dust control its better too," explained Tamez.

From the Millennium Falcon, to the Dark Knight and Disney Castle, these iconic pieces are elaborate.

Chad uses a notebook to keep count of all the Lego pieces built in this room.

"I'm probably at around 175,000 pieces. I just date it and it has the set number the name who built it how many pieces," said Tamez.

What may be this father of two's favorite build of all, may be a quote he made out of Lego's: "The family that bricks together will stick together."
