West Allis Police are searching for a man accused of following two children and trying to lure them into his car.
Police said a pickup truck followed two girls as they walked home around 11 a.m. Monday near Greenfield Avenue near I-894.
The silver Chevrolet pickup truck pulled up next to the girls and the driver motioned for them to come towards the car and told them to “get in.”
The girls did not, and walked away from the truck. Police say they spotted the same truck coming toward them again and they ran away.
Police say the pickup is possibly a 2008 model Chevrolet with a lift kit, 20-inch black and silver rims, no cap and a loud muffler.
The driver is described as either Hispanic or white with a heavy tan in his 20s or 30s. He has short dark hair and was wearing sunglasses.
