The West Allis Police Department and West Allis City Attorney's Office have closed 'Asian Massage,' a business located at 1442 S. 92nd Street after uncovering a prostitution operation.

Police began investigating the business in August of 2019 after receiving information that employees were engaging in prostitution. Detectives conducted a search warrant on Oct. 31, 2019, and as a result three people were arrested and criminally charged.

The property owner has since worked with the City to remove the tenants who were engaging in prostitution.

West Allis police say the investigation into Asian Massage is part of a larger ongoing effort to combat prostitution in West Allis.

"Prostitution creates nuisance activity for a neighborhood and frequently involves women being forced to live in terrible conditions and perform sexual acts against their will," said police in a news release. "Those who support this unlawful business by paying for these services should know they are supporting human trafficking."

If you or anyone you know is a victim of human trafficking, help is available from the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 888-373-7888.
