FOX POINT, Wis. -- The wait is nearly over, deep dish fans.
Chicago-area deep dish pizza chain Lou Malnati's is opening its first Wisconsin location, and we finally learned Wednesday when that location will open: Wednesday, December 11 at 4:00 p.m.
“We are thrilled with the opportunity to bring our authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza to America’s Dairyland,” said Marc Malnati, owner and son of Lou Malnati. “It’s a historic day for the company to be able to set up shop in Milwaukee and move up north to Wisconsin. We are excited to be part of the growth in Milwaukee and see great revitalization and similar tastes to Chicago."
The only possible snag? The 2,000-square foot space doesn't include a dining room - you'll have to get your order for delivery or carryout.
The new store location will be open daily, with later hours on Friday and Saturday nights.
