MILWAUKEE -- Aspen Dental is offering free dental care to as many as 5,000 veterans on June 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

As part of their 5th annual Day of Service and their Healthy Mouth Movement, participating offices will provide free care to those who have served. The initiative is an effort to help people who are blocked by various barriers.

Health care can be especially challenging for veterans, who often aren't eligible for benefits through the Veterans Administration.

Since 2014, Aspen has helped more than 17,000 veterans and other people in need through the initiative.

Aspen has local offices in West Bend, Oak Creek, Brookfield, and Pleasant Prairie.

Appointments can be made beginning on May 1 and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call 1-844-277-3646 to schedule with a participating office or CLICK HERE.
