MILWAUKEE — Two men were injured during a hit-and-run on Christmas day near W. Burnham Street.
Police say the crash occurred in the 2400 block of W. Burnham Street around 6:29 p.m. Friday. The suspect, a 23-year-old man, ran a stop sign in the area and crashed into another vehicle.
That vehicle then crashed into several unoccupied parked vehicles, according to police.
The driver of the victim's vehicle was a 23-year-old man and a 38-year-old man. Both were seriously injured in the crash and were transported to a local hospital.
The suspect was taken to a hospital for medical clearance and then arrested for an OWI. The Milwaukee police said criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
