Two charged in the shooting death of 13-year-old Sandra Parks

Two men have been charged in the death of 13-year-old Sandra Parks, who was shot and killed in her home Monday night.

Isaac Barnes, 26. is accused of homicide and Untrell Oden, 27, faces firearms charges in the shooting death. Both are from Milwaukee. 

The shooting happened near 13th and Hopkins. Parks was watching TV in her home when she was shot. 

According to the criminal complaint, Barnes' ex-girlfriend said she was parked outside a home on 12th Street when Barnes approached her with a large AK-47-style firearm wearing a mask. 

Barnes was later found hiding in a closet in an apartment on Locust Street. 

Oden was also at the apartment.  He told police Barnes was shooting at an unknown target. He also said Barnes asked him to keep his guns at his home. 

Barnes was convicted of felony armed robbery in 2010. Oden was also convicted of a felony armed robbery in 2011. 

Barnes is facing a weapons charges along with homicide. If convicted Barnes could face as much as 80 years in prison. Oden faces 20 years in prison if convicted.
