Linn, who has been a full-time member of the department since 2002, has been placed on administrative leave from the department, and a separate internal investigation is planned, the Twin Lakes Police Department said in a news release.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice is the lead agency in the investigation. The Twin Lakes Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation also are looking into the allegations.
The internal investigation is focusing on whether Linn violated any department policies or procedures, according to the news release.
