MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to a single car crash on westbound I-94, just east of I-41 in the Zoo Interchange just before 10 a.m. on Saturday.
When deputies arrived on scene, they saw a pickup truck that skidded off the east to the south Zoo Interchange ramp before landing in the westbound lane of I-94. Further investigation showed that the driver lost control of the vehicle which caused it to travel up a snowbank before falling 70 feet onto the westbound I-94 distress lane.
The driver was conscious and breathing and did not show any signs of impairment. The driver was taken to a local hospital.
All lanes and ramps were reopened around 2:30 p.m.
