We are learning more about what Wisconsin voters are thinking about the presidential race, police and protests.
In a head to head match up among likely voters, former Vice President Joe Biden's lead narrows to four points over President Trump - 47% to 43%.
It was five points in August and six points in June.
TMJ4's Political Panel talked about the Marquette Law School Poll with Common Council President Cavalier Johnson, a Milwaukee Democrat and Robin Moore, a Waukesha Republican and grassroots supporter.
The poll was conducted the same week President Trump and Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden visited Kenosha after the police shooting of Jacob Blake and several nights of protests, violence and two protesters being shot to death.
Voters were asked about Black Lives Matter, 49% were favorable vs 41% unfavorable. Police getting high marks in the poll, 73% favorable vs 18% unfavorable.
Mixed results on President Trump's approval numbers. He gets higher marks for the economy and low approval marks for handling the protests and pandemic.
President Trump:
Handling protests: 36% approve/ 54% disapprove.
Economy: 52% approve/44% disapprove
Pandemic: 41% approve/56% disapprove
