MILWAUKEE -- More than 10,000 We Energies customers in Wisconsin lost power Thursday as inches of snow fell across southeast Wisconsin.
As of 5:00 p.m., about 3,100 customers were without power. We Energies says the storm has been causing scattered power outages. That's because heavy, wet snow is weighing down and knocking down tree limbs, causing them to come into contact with poles and power equipment. As of 9:30 p.m., power has since been restored to most of the remaining customers without power.
Crews say stay at least 25 feet away and call us or 911 immediately. If you are experiencing a power outage, you can report it here.
