Third Ward shooting suspect now in custody, police say

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department has arrested a suspect in the Third Ward shooting that happened Sunday.

Around 3:25 a.m., a 24-year-old man was leaving a bar when the suspect shot and killed him. Police say the shooting was the result of an argument.

Following the shooting, a 23-year-old man turned himself in. Police are still investigating the incident but say criminal charges will be filed against the 23-year-old in the next few days.
