Beer runs like water in Milwaukee so it's only right that there's a map of where to find the best stuff. The Original Brew City Beer Map was unveiled on Thursday to ensure you never run out of places to drink.
VISIT Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Craft Brewers League, Lakefront Brewery, Pabst Brewery and Malteurop Malt Company teamed up to create the beer attractions map that includes everything from drinking to tours and the culture throughout the community.
The map includes beer attractions in the City of Milwaukee as well as in Wauwatosa, Franklin, Oak Creek, West Allis, Waukesha and more.
Over 500,000 maps will be distributed across the country. They'll be available at tourist attractions, restaurants, breweries, rest stops and online.
Breweries were among the top five activities tourists engaged in when taking an overnight trip to Milwaukee.
They're ranked as the top reason to visit the region and account for 11 percent of total overnight trips compared to the national average at five percent according to research from Longwoods International.
