MONTICELLO — Highway 69 was shut down Friday morning after a dangerous crash involving an SUV and semi-truck in which 10 people were injured.
According to our partners at WISC-TV,the crash happened at about 5:45 a.m. Friday on Highway 69 between Monticello and New Glarus.
An SUV was going north on Highway 69 when it slowed for a deer in the road, officials said. When the SUV slowed, a semi-truck rear-ended the SUV, forcing it into a ditch.
Ten people were taken to hospitals.
