MUKWONAGO — A teenager "randomly" stabbed a man Monday morning at a North Star Shell in Mukwonago, according to police.
At approximately 9:15 a.m., an 18-year-old Mukwonago female stabbed a 59-year-old man from Illinois with a large kitchen knife at 1060 N. Rochester St.
According to the police report, "At this time, it appears that the female randomly selected the male to stab. There is no evidence that the parties knew each other and they did not have any type of confrontation prior to the stabbing."
The male was taken to Froedtert Hospital for wounds to his chest and hand. The female teenager has been taken to the Waukesha County Jail and charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
