CALEDONIA, Wis. -- An overturned tanker spilling a 'very flammable liquid' forced police in Caledonia to ask residents to evacuate their homes, according to an alert from the police department.
County Highway V is closed between County Highway G and Seven Mile Rd. due to the spill. All homes within a half-mile radius of the spill were evacuated, police say.
Police ask that the public avoids the area while crews work to contain the spill.
