Suspected vehicle in Fox River Mall shooting found in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — The suspected vehicle police were looking for in relation to the fatal shooting at the Fox River Mall was found at a home in Oshkosh Monday morning.

The blue 2012 Dodge Avenger was spotted at a home on 20th Ave. at around 7:30 a.m., Oshkosh Police confirm.

While investigating, police say officers came in contact with people inside the home. Police said four people became physically combative with officers and were subsequently taken into custody. Police said the people arrested are a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, an 18-year-old woman, and a 37-year-old woman; all were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting.

Police were looking for the car, along with 17-year-old Dezman V. Ellis, who is suspected in the fatal shooting. Police are still searching for him.

Officers confirmed two people were hurt from the mall shooting Sunday. One victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was treated and released. The second victim, identified as 19-year-old Jovanni J. Frausto, died as a result of his injuries.

Police said in an update Monday morning Ellis is still considered armed and dangerous.
