MILWAUKEE — A suspect was taken into custody after an overnight standoff, police said.
Milwaukee police said the incident happened in the 2300 block of W. Roosevelt Dr. just before 10 p.m.
Police responded to a report of a person with a gun. When officers arrived on scene, they determined there was a domestic violence offense involving a gun that had occurred.
The suspect refused to surrender to law enforcement.
The Tactical Enforcement Unit and the Crisis Negotiators Unit were on scene.
The suspect was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered.
