MILWAUKEE — A recent Sports Illustrated article named Bucks' star Giannis Antetokounmpo as the fittest male athlete.
The article listed the 25 fittest female athletes, and the 25 fittest male athletes. Giannis topped the list.
The article stated that when Giannis joined the NBA he was 6 ft. 9 in. and weighed 196 pounds. Now, Giannis is two inches taller, weighs 242 pounds, and has a wingspan of 7 ft. 3 in. long, four inches longer than his height.
The article said, "This season, Antetokounmpo has improved in nearly every aspect of the game, from three-point shooting to usage rate, assists and more." The author then continued on with, "When you have the courageto challenge the Rock in the weight room, it becomes clear why Antetokounmpo is known as the “Greek Freak.”
Let's just say, we are proud to have the Greek Freak on our Milwaukee Bucks.
