MILWAUKEE -- The dream is over for children all across Milwaukee -- MPS will resume classes on Friday, February 1 as bitterly cold temperatures exit southeast Wisconsin.
"All schools & district offices are open. All district after school, recreation, athletic programs and events will resume as well," the district said in a tweet.
MPS had canceled class for five consecutive school days, dating back to last Friday.
"We look forward to welcoming all students & staff back!" the district said.
High temperatures are expected to reach into the mid-40s as soon as Sunday. Check the latest Storm Team 4Cast here.
