GREENFIELD, Wis. — A skimmer device was found on a drive-through ATM at the Educators Credit Union's Loomis branch.

The device is believed to have been in place from late July 15 through July 17. Educators Credit Union was made aware of it on Monday morning.

Educators Credit Union believes the fraud only affected those who used the ATM between that period of time, according to the release. The Loomis branch is located at 4000 W Loomis Rd, Milwaukee, WI.

To prevent skimming fraud at any ATM or pay-at-the-pump gas stations, cover your PIN as you enter it, pull on the card reader and look for any unusual marks or loose pieces on the card reader.

If an Educators Credit Union member believes they have been affected by fraud, they should contact at 262.886.5900 to have their card blocked. After hours, members can call 800.682.6075 to report a lost or stolen card.

A new card can be instantly issued to members in any Educators branch or delivered by mail. Educators members can also download the Ctrl™ app to monitor transactions and turn off and on their card in between uses. Anyone else who used the ATM with a non-Educators card during this time should contact their financial institutions.
