SHOREWOOD — Second graders at St. Robert School in Shorewood are on a mission to spread love and kindness one message at a time.
"We're putting Valentine's hangers on people's doors," 2nd grader Henry said.
The class of about 20 walked down North Farewell Avenue and North Maryland Avenue placing kind notes on people's doors knobs and in mailboxes.

"Because we want to make sure everyone is happy today," 2nd grader Sawyer said.
It's an easy gesture, but it goes a long way.
"Because making people happy is one of the number one things to do," 2nd grader Kennedy said.
After all, love is love, and it's important to spread it.
