SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — A Sheboygan teen has been arrested for making a school threat— the second one in two days, according to Sheboygan Police.
On Tuesday, a parent alerted police to a social media post threatening South High School. Sheboygan Police said they identified the 16-year-old Sheboygan resident who made the post, but the teen claimed the threat was not credible. The student was arrested and referred to juvenile authorities. Classes were not impacted by the threat.
Police said this is a separate investigation from the school threat reported on Sept. 2.
The Sheboygan Police Department said they encourage parents to speak with their kids about making threats and to monitor their social media accounts.
