MILWAUKEE — As protests turned violent in several areas of the country, similar scenes popped up throughout the night across Milwaukee.
A Walgreens, located at Martin Luther King Drive and Hadley was looted overnight. TMJ4 News crews witnessed smoke from the building.
Crowds broke the store glass at Playmakers on Fond du Lac Avenue and rushed inside. Shoe boxes and other items from inside of the store were strewn across the parking lot.
Stores Looted, Multiple People Arrested In Milwaukee
Police also made a perimeter around Mayfair Mall, just after 2 a.m.
It is unclear how many people were arrested or if anyone was injured.
