The search for a missing swimmer in Lake Michigan has now been changed from a rescue to a recovery, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Aaron Polntiz of Brookfield, 19, was reported missing near Grant Park in Cudahy Monday.
The man was swimming in the lake with other people around 6 p.m. when he started having problems in the water and went under.
A search for him was suspended Monday night just before 10 p.m.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are scanning waters and combing the beach for his body.
