A school bus containing 44 children en route to Amy Belle Elementary was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning in Richfield.
According to authorities, a 23-year-old woman failed to stop at Hillside Road and Elmwood Road and struck an SUV. The SUV then was forced into the school bus.
The school bus suffered minor front-end damage, and all 44 children on board were evaluated by EMS personnel at the scene. Four children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the accident but say neither alcohol nor drugs seems to have played a factor.
