MILWAUKEE — A handful of restaurants are expected to open in the Milwaukee area following the new year. From pasta to tacos, there's something for everyone to try.
Tua Pasta is expected to open this winter at 100 E. Wisconsin Ave. It's a pasta bar owned by a father and son, Alvaro Niño de Guzman Sr. and Alvaro Niño de Guzman Jr., according to our partners at Milwaukee Business Journal.
Mac Shack previously set it's opening day as Sept. 1, 2019, but it looks like it will be opening this coming year. Located at 1701 N. Humboldt Ave., it had to postpone it's opening due to city inspections, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
Café Bavaria in Wauwatosa is taking on a new name as The Buckatabon, according to a press release. It's expected to switch over to the new "Northwoods-inspired" restaurant in February.
Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria is opening another Wisconsin location in Brookfield in the summer of 2020. It will be located at 15795 W. Bluemound Rd.
HIYA Taco is expected to open at 4144 N. Oakland Ave.
Good Land Wing Co. is opening a location in Brookfield in early 2020, according to their website. It will be located at 15375 W. Bluemound Rd.
