MillerCoors is planning on eliminating 350 positions across the company, according to our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal.

CEO Gavin Hattersley reportedly confirmed it in an email to staff and distributors on Tuesday.

MillerCoors employs 1,400 people in Milwaukee and 8,000 across the country.

Company spokesperson Marty Maloney told the Business Journal it is too soon to predict how many Milwaukee jobs will be affected.

"We’re offering a voluntary severance program which allows people who may be ready to move on the opportunity to do so with a generous package," Maloney wrote in an email. "So it’s too soon to say at this point what the impact will be to each campus. Once we know who has elected to volunteer, leaders will review election requests against the organizational design and determine how roles will be impacted."

In his email, Hattersley said about 150 of the positions on the chopping block have been left open or  have already been eliminated, suggesting 200 employees could lose their jobs.
