A man was flown by Flight for Life after a reckless driving crash that resulted in hitting a light pole Sunday night.
Mount Pleasant police responded to the area of Lathrop Avenue and Judith Lane for an injury crash. Once there, they saw a blue Dodge truck crashed in the ditch with one male driver inside.
The driver was then transported to the Ascension Emergency Room and later flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Medical Hospital. He is now in stable condition.
Police investigation revealed that the man was driving at a high rate of speed southbound on Lathrop Avenue when he left the roadway and crashed into a light pole.
Mount Pleasant police believe reckless driving and possible impairment may have caused the crash.
