Rocky, the Racine dog who was brought to the Wisconsin Humane Society last month, has found his forever home, the WHS announced Friday.

The Duffy family of Hales Corners adopted Rocky Thursday night.

The 10-month old pup was brought to the WHS in June after his owner, Terrence Howard, allegedly beat and disfigured the dog.

Howard was reported to have beaten Rocky with a pipe, whip and even his fists. He has since been charged with felony mistreatment of animals.
