Purple Door Ice Cream will open its second location in Mequon next fall.
The business first opened in Walker's Point in 2011. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, Purple Door currently makes 180 different flavors of ice cream that are sold both in-house and in local restaurants and stores.
It will be part of the new Mequon Public Market at 6300 W. Mequon Road, which will consist of about 10 vendors. So far, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. is the only other food business in the market.
