BAY VIEW — Protesters are peacefully marching against the police custody death of George Floyd on a 6.5-mile route from Bay View to downtown Milwaukee.
The Justice for George Floyd Peaceful Protest began at 1 p.m., with sign-making taking place before that at 11:30 a.m.
The march started at the Marble Monument in Humboldt Park and is expected to end in the area of Milwaukee Police District 1 and the Milwaukee County Jail.

Protesters are encouraged to bring water and wear sunscreen, as temperatures are expected to hit 90 degrees in Milwaukee.
On Monday, protesters marched through Milwaukee until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
